Acid-resistant HPMC capsules pass through the stomach intact and release their contents in the intestinal tract — ideal for probiotics and enzymes.
Need a proven standard?
Bovine gelatine capsules offer sizes from 5 to 000 (including elongated and tamper-evident) at the most competitive price point.
Need guaranteed availability?
Any capsule type, size or colour can be held in stock for you under a volume and period agreement.
Need moisture protection?
Vegetable HPMC capsules have a moisture content of up to 7%, compared to ~13–15% for gelatine.

Capsule Sizes
All our capsule types are available in sizes ranging from 000 (largest) to 5 (smallest). Below are standard dimensions and approximate fill volumes for closed capsules.

Sizes 2–5 are available in bovine gelatine only. Elongated variants (1el, 0el, 00el) provide 10–15% extra fill volume.
Nominal industry standards — exact dimensions, weights and fill volumes vary slightly between capsule types and manufacturers; the product data sheet on each product page is the binding specification.
Custom Colours and Printing
All capsule types are available in custom colour combinations — full-coloured capsules or capsules with different-coloured cap and body. A fixed colour palette (white, red, green, yellow, black, brown) is available to order with low minimum order quantities. Unique colour matching is available for larger orders.
Capsules can also be printed with logos, text, or graphics using natural food-grade inks. Printing is available in horizontal or vertical orientation.
All colourants and inks comply with European regulatory standards for human consumption.

European Stock and Fast Delivery
Standard transparent capsules in sizes 000, 00, 0 and 1 are kept in permanent stock at our temperature and humidity-controlled warehouses and are typically dispatched within two business days. Coloured capsules and non-stocked sizes are supplied to order — and any capsule can be held in stock for you under a volume and period agreement.
We also offer separated capsules — cartons with caps and bodies in separate bags — for manual filling or small production trials, available in bovine gelatine, HPMC and pullulan.
