Eurokapsule is owned and operated by Silvaco A/S, a privately held Danish company established in 1962. Silvaco specialises in sourcing and marketing ingredients, raw materials and finished products for the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food, feed and cosmetic industries.
Since acquiring Eurokapsule in 2015, Silvaco has continued to invest in the brand — expanding the product range, strengthening manufacturer partnerships and growing the customer base across Europe.
Our History
- 1989
- Eurokapsule founded by Christian Batier in Paris, France, as a European distributor of empty hard capsules.
- 1989–2015
- For 26 years, Eurokapsule operated from offices in Paris and Berlin, with warehouse facilities in Antwerp, Belgium. The brand built a reputation for quality capsules and reliable supply across European markets.
- 2015
- Silvaco A/S acquired Eurokapsule, bringing the brand under Danish ownership and consolidating operations at Silvaco's headquarters in Hillerød.
- Today
- Eurokapsule continues to grow as Silvaco's dedicated capsule brand, serving customers across Scandinavia, Germany, France, Benelux, Austria, and expanding further into European markets.

Our vegetable capsule partners are specialist manufacturers with decades of experience in the hard capsule industry, producing our vegetable HPMC and acid-resistant HPMC capsules. Vegan certification is available for selected HPMC lines.
Our gelatine capsule partners are certified manufacturers holding cGMP, BRC Food Safety, ISO 9001 and EXCiPACT certifications.
